More Than A Store
At Jolie, we want to be remembered as more than a store. We take time each year to give back to our community through volunteering, partnering with local non-profits, being an advocate and supporting other local small businesses, and finding ways to be more eco-friendly as a business.
Since we opened, we have partnered with over a dozen non-profits such as In Christy's Shoes, the American Heart Association, Nationwide Children's Hospital, and the Salvation Army of Central Columbus.
In 2019, we hosted our first Angel Tree through the Salvation Army and were able to donate over 100 toys to children and families in need during the holiday season. We spent time volunteering at the distribution center to help sort through the toys and food for each of the families who came through.
This year, we are excited to be a sponsor of the Stonewall Columbus Pride Parade for the first time! We are strong supporters of equal rights and non-discrimination policies and are proud members of Ohio Business Competes.
In addition to giving back to those in need, we are working on ways to give back to our planet. We currently use paper shopping bags that are 100% recyclable, we have stopped putting tissue paper in bags and printing receipts (unless asked for), and if you opt to go bag-less while checking out you will save $0.50! While there is still much more that we can do, we are excited to continue finding new ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle!
